I love that the bride carried the only colorful bouquet. I did the same thing in my wedding!

I found this absolutely gorgeous wedding on Wiley Valentine’s blog. This has to be one of my all time favorite weddings I’ve seen on a blog. I just love how rustic charming and earthy it is.

And the rain just makes it that much cooler! Love love the bridesmaids boots and the groom’s red shoes! Everyone looks so cozy.

The details are so sweet and personal. I want her bouquet. Love me some greenery and lavender.

OK that’s it. They read my mind. Blue mason jars, gerber daisies and lanterns?? Can I get married again? I’m in love.

The wedding was photographed by Braedon Photography, designed by Tricia Fountaine Design and the brides’s gorgeous dress was by Songi Bridal.

There is a tiny little brick chapel in the middle of nowhere out where my parents live in Hillsborough, North Carolina. It used to be St. Mary’s Church. It literally holds about 50 people but is such an adorable little chapel. It’s too old to and too tiny to have any services in, but sometimes people will use it for candlelit wedding ceremonies. I freakin’ love little chapels and take pictures of them whenever I spot one. If I could have another wedding I’d totally have my ceremony in a little white chapel like right out of a storybook. Check out some of these romantic ones I found:

What do you think of having a small intimate wedding in a teeny chapel like these?

I’ve been collecting images of antique rings forever so I’m sorry I don’t know where all these are from. But I know I got a lot of them from Fay Cullen’s site and Ross Simons estate section.

antiqueringsThese are a little less traditional for engagement rings. But how gorgeous are these? I am loving the ruby ones! And if you’re feeling totally unconventional check out some of these from Nava Zahavi and Melissa Joy Manning. I am craving me a raw black diamond. Mmmm.

Status: Married

One of our awesome readers (thanks Caitlin!) sent in this video for Wedding Wednesday. Talk about addicted to Facebook. This reaches a WHOLE new level.

The bride doesn’t seem to mind though. Would you girls be so chill?

So some of you may have seen this wedding in Martha Stewart Weddings a while back. This couple decided to have a school-themed wedding since they met in elementary school. Normally I think themes can turn out really cheesy. But this couple did an awesome job making it vintage and adorable. I wanted to copy so much of this wedding when I was planning my own wedding, but Randy and I didn’t meet in school so it wouldn’t have made much sense. I did try to work in their color scheme and some chalkboard stuff though. Love it! Check it out:

If you can afford a beautiful, intricately decorated colorful cake, that’s great! But sometimes a simple cake can look just as fabulous with the right stand. If you look at some of April Reed’s cakes from our previous post, you can see how choosing the right stand to show off your cake can make a big difference. Check out some of these cake stands I found online to give you some inspiration:

I found the cake stand for my wedding cake on Ebay. There are tons of antique ones on there to choose from. Here are just a few I found last night.
