More pics have been released for Anthro/Urban Outfitter’s new wedding store BHLDN. Their dresses are lovely, but I think I love their accessories and shoes the most. Check out some pics below and see even more here.

I hope everyone had a great Christmas and is gearing up for New Year’s Eve! I love New Year’s Eve because it’s an excuse to 1. Drink lots of champy and 2. Wear sparkly things. This year I have been especially obsessed with sequins and glitter. Urban Outfitters has some great body glitter right now that I’m thinking of using. Yes you heard me, body glitter. If used appropriately and not like a raver on ecstasy, it can be quite lovely. Note exhibits A and B below:

Okay. 2 things.

1. This guy looks ridiculous.

2. I want these mittens. Specifically the cookie monster ones.
They’re at Urban Outfitters. Too bad they’re $38 though.

I was at Urban Outfitters last night and saw some of the coolest bikes on display. Evidently Urban Outfitters has teamed up with Republic Bike. You can check out the site here. There are 2 types of bikes to choose from: Plato, which is like a beach cruiser, and Aristotle, which is single-speed. After you choose which type you want, you can customize to be any color you want including the wheels, the gears, the handlebars, everything!

I have always wanted a colorful beach cruiser with a little basket on the front to cruise around on. It’s pretty impossible here though with all these crazy hills and traffic. Maybe one day though when I move to Santa Monica, hehe.

No St. Patrick’s Day would be complete without the obligatory naughty and/or drunken Irish T-shirt.

I’ll be sporting my “Gettin’ Lucky in Kentucky” shirt in honor of my husband from Lexington. :)

My coworker has one of these on her desk. I’ve given it several shakes this week at work. Ahhhhh!

Remember those plastic strips that you could cut up, melt them in the oven, then make into jewelry? I was obsessed with those things. I had like 20 different pairs of melted plastic accessories. I’m starting to wonder if they’re going to come back into style like everything else I used to wear.

Here are a few outfits I found on Urban Outfitters and Free People’s sites that remind me of the clothes I wore when I was younger. Like elementary school. Floral prints, plaid, jorts, ruffly skirts, colored jeans and body suits (more middle school for that one). It’s kind of freaking me out that trends I not only remember, but already wore, are coming back into style. What’s next? Backwards pants? (Jump! Jump!) I’m sorry, but once was enough for me thanks.

I’m currently in the process of redoing my living room. It’ll be a long process as I have no money and must wait for that perfect deal on Craigslist to appear. For the time being, I’ve been looking at all kinds of furniture sites that are mostly out of my price range. It’s okay though b/c frankly I’m not really into furniture “sets” anyway. I like more eclectic vintage pieces. Urban Outfitters actually has some really great mid-century modern looking pieces that are affordable! If you’re into this kind of retro look, I highly recommend checking them out. Here are just a few pieces I thought were cool:
