I watched Conan’s last Tonight Show. It was pretty awesome. From Steve Carell’s surprise appearance giving Conan an “exit interview” to Tom Hanks chanting “CoCo” to Neil Young’s performance to Will Ferrell rockin’ out to Free Bird with Conan playing electric guitar. That was the perfect way to end the show. There could’ve been more cowbell though:)
Conan we will miss you! But I know we’ll see you soon!

Yeah yeah I know it’s all over the internet but we just thought we’d share our support too on the blog. Conan wrote the nicest letter to the “People of Earth” saying he will not do the Tonight show if it is moved to 12:05. And frankly, I don’t blame him! He shouldn’t be bullied around like that by those crappy NBC folks. I’m officially refusing to watch Jay Leno ever again on whatever show NBC decides to put him on.* I’ve always been a fan of Conan and what NBC is doing to him after he uprooted his entire family and staff to move to LA is completely ludicrous. I just want to yell “Jay! Give it up!” and “Goooo Team Conan!”
Despite all the drama he’s been going through, he did manage to make some pretty funny jokes about it.
“My name is Conan O’Brien and I may soon be available for children’s parties.” And, “I’ll continue to put on a great show night after night, while stealing as many office supplies as humanly possible.” Damn straight! I would too. In fact, I have. Yeah free scissors, pens, and an endless supply of staples! Whew, sorry for so much angst. Just had to get that off my chest.
*Unless said show involves a certain Robert Pattinson as guest. And then I may reconsider.
