I hope everyone had a great Christmas and is gearing up for New Year’s Eve! I love New Year’s Eve because it’s an excuse to 1. Drink lots of champy and 2. Wear sparkly things. This year I have been especially obsessed with sequins and glitter. Urban Outfitters has some great body glitter right now that I’m thinking of using. Yes you heard me, body glitter. If used appropriately and not like a raver on ecstasy, it can be quite lovely. Note exhibits A and B below:

I stumbled on this article and clip (Okay my husband sent it to me) from an episode of Wife Swap. I don’t really watch that show, but after watching this clip, I really want to see the whole thing! These families are NUTSO. Take this girl that’s suing ABC for a bajillion arbitrary dollars. Her parents spoil her to death. They do her homework for her and have a year round Christmas tree set up to give her presents every day. I want to vomit. This girl will never survive in the real world. Although according to her, it’s us “non-gorgeous people” that will never succeed. I guess we don’t have the sparkle. Touché.
