Well, I’m at the airport waiting to fly home to New York. Surprise, I’m delayed for 2.5 hours flying in JFK. Sigh. Oh well, what can a girl do? I sucked it up and decided to buy the $5.00 internet access. A stupid purchase, yes, and the hubsters would probably have yelled at me for doing it, but I don’t really care. It’s $5.00 well spent if it keeps this 24 year old girl with a 3 year old’s attention span entertained. I was thinking that I should maybe purchase a book or something. Anyone have any suggestions for a good read? Of course my novel idea of reading was thrown out the window when I got a Facebook email telling me that I had been tagged in several pictures and my iPhone wouldn’t let me open them. I always get a little panicky when I see the “Susie Q. has tagged 9 photos of you on Facebook” email. I have to quickly think back to where I was with Susie Q., what Susie Q. and I were doing and whether or not I would really want that on Facebook for the world to see, haha. I’m a de-tagging machine if I do say so myself.

I had a nice week in NC though and some great rehearsal time too. I’m finished with all of my choreography and I dressed rehearsed my costume to make sure that it would not fall apart. Everything went A-OK! I think I’m ready now. I’m surprised that I’m not more nervous than I am, but it’s probably because I still have a week left. I’ll let you know how I really feel next Friday!

Signing off for now. Perhaps I’ll do a little internet shopping with my non-existent money :)

I can understand canceling a flight when it looks like this. But last time I checked, this NEVER happens in NC.

Well folks, good news. The Airport Gods were good to us today and Jeff and I were able to get out of New York before the behemoth of a blizzard rolled into town. Whew. And to make the deal even sweeter, they threw in free wireless on our flight. That’s right, I’m broadcasting to you live currently from 30,000 feet above sea level. Pretty sweet deal. After such a crappy ordeal with being one of only 2 flights canceled out of Laguardia to Raleigh-Durham yesterday, I’d say that Delta has somewhat redeemed themselves for their minor freak out about the possibility of there being snow at RDU airport. A possibility that was proven false, as the airport only saw rain, rain and more rain throughout the evening hours. LAME.

But, yippee skippee, we’re on our way home to good old NC; well hopefully. We still have one more flight out of Atlanta. So cross your fingers and toes that all goes well or else we’re renting a car and taking our chances on the road. We’re looking forward to seeing lots of family, warmer temperatures, (warmer meaning 40 degrees as opposed to the normal 20 we’ve grown accustomed to), and stuffing our faces with Christmas goodies. Weight loss New Year’s Resolution here we come!
