Well, folks, the day has come. What day you ask? The day where two bitter rivals will be pitted against one another on the hardwood. The day where the words “Awesome with a capital A,” “Unbelievable” and “Baby” will be completely overused and soon petitioned to be removed from Webster’s Dictionary. And yes, the day where numerous “my team is better than your team” fights will break out via Facebook status updates that could rival your average first grader lunchtime juice box vs. animal cookie fight. Yes, that’s right, you guessed it. Tune in to ESPN tonight at 9:00pm for….
Team “Every time I check the ESPN NCAA basketball scoreboard, I can never find the score of their game. Oh wait, that’s right, they’re not in the Top 25 anymore, so let me adjust my search results to only include the ACC. Yes, there you are! Oh, you lost again.”

Team “There hasn’t been a single attractive guy on their bench since the days of Chris Collins and even then it was skeptical. And do the players all wear dog collars hooked up to an electrical fence that’s plotted along the three point line causing them to cowardly avoid the easy 2 and repeatedly heave the long shot?”
Or as most people would like to call it THE CAROLINA vs. DUKE game. Oh goody. Another night for the hubsters to throw his shoe at the TV. Poor Willie is going to think that daddy has gone crazy. Maybe I should get some quality video footage of the madness

Weeeeeeeeeeee! College football season is officially in swing! I’m such a happy girl There was absolutely nothing better about living in the south than getting up on a Saturday morning and getting ready for the big game at school, or the games on TV all day. That’s one thing that I miss terribly about the south. I love college football, maybe that explains why most of my friends were always boys? College football is no big deal up here, tear. But Jeff and I plan to head on over to Brother Jimmy’s to catch the ACC games. Brother Jimmy’s is awesome! It’s a bar basically dedicated to North Carolina sports teams. Duke and Carolina Alums primarily frequent there, but you’ll see the occasional Wake or State fan too. I’m pretty sure I’ll be the only Elon fan there, but that’s no surprise. So stoked for the long weekend and some great football!! Anyone have any exciting plans this weekend, or are there any games you’re particularly looking forward to?
A: I think Randy already told you we’re thinking of going to the Cal/Maryland game. We’ll be watching the Wake game on TV tomorrow. I wish I could get as psyched as you are about football season, but I think I’ve become prisoner to the west coast and its college sports apathy. I sometimes miss it though. But not enough to move back
