I recently finished designing a wedding suite for a couple getting married in the wine country at an apple orchard. I’m really excited how it turned out. I hope to post some photos of it soon, but for now, here is the design. It consists of a letterpressed invitation and RSVP card that is hand-stamped in bright coral on each. We also decided to wrap it all in a kraft band that is hand-stamped with the couple’s monogram.

Jack’s Master has a new Facebook page! Check it out and give us a thumbs up. But only if you like us. Or like like us. We’d be flattered :)

And remember, we’re a pet friendly design shop too. What does that mean? For every design we sell, a portion of our proceeds is donated annually to the ASPCA.

I’ve noticed in the last several weeks that a lot of creative people found interesting ways to raise money for Japan. Some of the simplest posters are my favorites. They are just so smart and to the point. Below are a few of my favorites. And of course, you don’t need clever art to help. If you’d like to give a donation to help Japan, just visit here.

I know I know. I’m using the blog to shamelessly promote my design business. The thing is, I’m recently unemployed and trying to make a go of doing Jack’s Master full time. I’m only 2 weeks in and did a line of Valentine’s cards to start. Of course you all know I have a ton of experience with weddings and baby shower, but I’m planning on expanding even more – and taking over the WOORRRLLLLLLD. Kidding.

This is where you come in though. Spread the word. Like me on Facebook. Tweet me. Whatever. Just let your friends know about us! And while you’re at it, buy a Valentine :)

Here’s a sample of our Etsy shop.

For your Pookie Bear {pookus amourus} – hehe.

And for your real life Edward:

There are even cards for the dog to give!

Now that we’re all moved in, Jeff could make a fortune if he earned a dollar every time he heard me say, “I really want to make our apartment look really cute.” What? I’m a girl, of course I have visions of beautifully painted walls, cool furniture and absolute organization. Of course, in the real world, those things don’t always exist, but in my brain they do. And on the Young House Love blog they do! I can’t remember if I’ve already talked about this blog or not, but it recently has made a huge reappearance in my life as I’m trying to figure out cute, but very inexpensive, ways to spruce up our new home.

The blog is all about a couple who bought a house and essentially re-did EVERYTHING to make it their own. And they completed everything just in time for them to get married in their cute new backyard, how charming! The design inspiration is great, and it really gives you the confidence that you, too, can take on the challenge of redecorating your living space to meet your needs. Check out their blog, they have some great ideas and some wonderful eye candy, (some of my favorites below!)

The design agency called Invisible Creature designed this business card for a videographer/photographer. Not only does it look slick, it’s got a sweet idea to match. Love it.

Get it? When you pull the card out of the lil envelope the head photo turns around like a flip-book would animate. The back is black with his info engraved. Fancy.

A friend of mine just recently had a baby and was kind enough to ask me to do their announcement. Here is what we came up with:

I desperately need to update my portfolio, but as always, you can check out more work at JacksMaster.com.
