Dating in the Dark

So I started watching this show “Dating in the Dark” a couple weeks ago and it’s sort of an interesting concept. I mean it’s basically like meeting someone online, but instead you’re in a dark room sitting beside them chatting. I feel like if you get rejected this way, it’s even worse. They’re rejecting your personality. Ick. That’s hard to change.

But anyway, so I don’t know if you’ve seen it, but they go on a few dates in the dark and see if they hit it off with anyone. If you hit it off with someone you can agree to see them in the light. It’s pretty hysterical watching some of their reactions. Especially the girls’. They’re thinking “Ohhhh, ewww. Not what I had in mind.” I still think if you hit it off in the dark with them, you should give them a chance! This last episode, one girl made a great connection with a guy, but as soon as she saw what he looked like she decided to reject him. And she definitely was NO looker herself. What do you have to lose!? You obviously liked the guy, why not give him a chance??

If you hit it off with someone who turned out to not look like someone you’d typically date, would you still go out with them? Comments?
