When I visited Karen in New York, she took me by Bergdorf Goodman to show me their windows. These by far were the most creative and elaborate out of all the stores I saw. Even Anthropologie’s (which I will be posting later). Check out these works of art:

So I’ve returned from the cosmic black hole that sucked me into its depths. Lame excuse, sorry 
Anyway, compared to my sis, I had a pretty laid back Halloween. Jeffers is not all that into dressing up, or even the holiday of Halloween itself, so needless to say, there were no costumes this year. Sniff. Anyway, so on the way home from work last week I passed by Bergdorf’s windows and was stunned. They were so cool!! Check them out:
Bergdorf’s always has such awesome windows, I can’t even fathom how long it takes for them to create these things. Can’t wait for the Christmas displays!

Weeeee! Fashion Week officially started today! And you can definitely notice a difference in the city. The weather was significantly colder today, but so many people were out and about tonight. The tents are also up in Bryant Park and it makes me all giddy. I’ve taken several pictures of them already and since Jeff works at Bank of America @ One Bryant Park, I have him on constant lookout for famous people, haha. Tonight is “Fashion’s Night Out” and there are parties all over the city going on from 6:00-11:00. Specifically, there was a HUGE party going on at Bergdorf Goodman and I just happened to be walking by after work. Let me set up the scene for you:
So I’m walking towards 58th street, my hair’s a mess after a long workday, I’m wearing my work clothes, I have a heavy bag on my shoulder and I’m carrying a very important dress for the bride whose wedding I’m helping with this weekend in the Hamptons (post to come!). Needless to say, I was guarding this dress like it was my child. There’s a gigantic crowd outside of Bergdorf’s that I have to fight my way through and low and behold as I’m fishing my way through the throngs of people, I spot designer Rachel Zoe. SHUT UP! She was being pulled through the crowd by a very large man, but I did get a “hello” and a handshake! Pretty sweet! She’s very tiny and I felt like a gigantor next to her, but it was quite a cool experience. Then I saw Donna Karan too 
A great night all in all!
The city was so beautiful tonight, it’s beginning to feel a lot like Fall
A: OK the fact that anyone can go into these parties is crazy. We are soooo going next year and bumping shoulders with Rachel and Donna. I’ll just need to rob a Barneys first.
