That’s right. Awkward Family Photos: The Holiday Edition. I spent my day trying to figure out the best and most economical way to do our Christmas cards this year when it dawned on me. You know those cards that most people do for the holidays? The manufactured, mass produced ones with a picture of the family and a catchy politically correct holiday greeting that won’t offend any of their non Christmas celebrating friends? No, I’m not bustin’ on them, I’m probably going to be that person who does that this year because, to be honest with you, I’m still recovering from all of the wedding thank you cards. But anyway, back to the topic at hand. I started thinking about these Christmas cards and I just had to wander on over to Awkward Family Photos and check out the cornucopia of awkwardness that the holidays always bring out. ENJOY

So one of my absolute favorite websites to browse when I’m bored is AwkwardFamilyPhotos.com. Oh my God, some of the pictures that pop up on this website are side splittingly hilarious. I can’t even handle it. What goes through these people’s minds, (and photographer’s minds while we’re at it), when they choose to wear matching denim jumpsuits…or when they think it’s a cool idea to pose with your Cabbage Patch Doll…..or my personal favorite, when people choose to take the awkward prom pose to the extreme. Ugh people! Well at least you make me have better self confidence.
