I know these have been on Anthropologie for a while, but I still LOVE them.

After I spilled Chinese food all over the couch, I started to think about “what if I just bought a whole new couch to replace this Kung Pao catastrophe?” I can’t afford one, but a girl can dream.
I’ve decided that the next couch I buy will be tufted. I’m into tufts. Here are some favorites I found:

Hold on to your credit cards ladies, Beholden is now open for business! Let the weddings and girly parties begin! So far these are the things that I never knew I “needed” until now.
Shoe clips
(pompoms and feathers – both. I need both!)
A mini hat
What? I’ll throw a mini-hat party so I can wear it.
Crocheted gloves
I’m a lady
A furry pink shrug
(To go with my lady gloves and mini hat)
And more cocktail dresses
(because I have soo many cocktail parties I’m attending. Well one. The mini hat party.)

That’ll do Master Card, that’ll do.*
*In case my dad is reading, this is all a joke. I did not go hog wild spending money. Only in my dreams I did

More pics have been released for Anthro/Urban Outfitter’s new wedding store BHLDN. Their dresses are lovely, but I think I love their accessories and shoes the most. Check out some pics below and see even more here.

OK I don’t know what’s gotten into me, but I’m obsessed with wedding stuff lately. Not I’m not getting remarried. Wedding stuff is just so pretty (whiny voice).
So I’m like a week or more behind on this news, but it’s new news to me; Anthropologie’s wedding brand BHLDN is launching on Valentine’s Day!! BHLDN actually stands for “Beholden” I found out. Fortunately for me, since I’m already married (dammit) BHLDN will not only do weddings, but special occasions in general as well. It was decided that Anthropologie was an established enough brand, and that a completely new formal event brand was needed, hence BHLDN. I cannot WAIT to see the new site when it launches. I love all the textures and details in the teaser pics already. Gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous! I would kill to work for them. Maybe they’ll need wedding invitation designers later. HELLO ANTHROPOLOGIE GODS. If you’re out there, I AM AVAILABLE!

So I was stalking Anthopologie’s website, as I do almost nightly, and noticed that they’re selling gift wrap for the holidays! I’ve never wanted wrapping paper as a gift until now. Okay that’s not true. I love gift wrap, and ribbon and tags and decorative doodads. And every year I think this will be the year I get my sh*t together and wrap all my gifts into little works of art. But then I run out of time and the idea of buying $12 wrapping paper sheets that will cover maybe a gift seems extravagant. Instead I just wait until I fly home and wrap them all in whatever jumbo econo roll my mom has bought at Walmart. We’re so lazy at home too that sometimes you don’t even get a pre-made bow stuck on the top. And even worse is when we’re running low on paper, or just didn’t cut the square big enough, and leave a big ole gap under the present where the paper ends didn’t quite meet. Then you have to combine 2 different wrapping papers to make some sort of mutant gift. Classsssy.
So whatever Anthro. Look all pretty with your $30 wrapping job around a $10 present. We all know it’s what’s inside that counts.
Unless it’s wrapped like this:

I love Anthropologie’s new web video on their site called “Scenic Route.” It’s a map of a mini land where tiny plastic people live in places like “Boot Hill” and “Clutch Creek.” It’s like an Anthro-Addict’s version of Candyland. Sigh. A land of shoes and accessories.

I found some really cute and affordable faux fur coats at Forever21, Asos, Anthropologie and Modcloth. Especially Asos. If you haven’t visited their online shop, go! When I discovered them, I was online for like 3 hours just browsing their site. Now I just need to narrow down which fur coat will be MINE.

A lot of fur-bulous: Sure wearing a pink fur coat would be hard to pull off, but I like to think if I bought one I’d look just as fashionable as these girls. Right?
A little fur-bulous: And I love how these girls have dressed it down some but still look like fashionistas. I’m really craving that leopard coat. See, even schlepping through the snow you can look chic.
Whether you call it white, off-white, cream, ivory, stone, natural, snowflake, eggshell, or Cullen-Complexion, here are 38ish reasons to keep wearing it even after Labor Day.* Because who still follows that rule anymore anyway?
* Items not to be worn together all at once. Because that would be weird.
Sorry, I’m lazy. All of these things came from either Anthropologie, Asos or Modcloth.
