If only my medicine bottles looked this cool. Love these!!
Well it was only a matter of time before I got my annual cold. I managed to sneak it in right before the new year. Blegh. Sorry I’ve been a little slow blogging. We’ve been visiting family all over. I’m now in Kentucky visiting the in-laws. Somewhere between Raleigh and Lexington I managed to pick up a cold. I’ve been heavily medicating myself with every sort of cold treatment that’s out there. Liquids, powders, pills, pills that dissolve on your tongue. I still can’t believe they haven’t come up with a cure yet for this thing. According to this reliable news source, it’s all a conspiracy. What do you think?

I’ve been collecting images of antique rings forever so I’m sorry I don’t know where all these are from. But I know I got a lot of them from Fay Cullen’s site and Ross Simons estate section.
These are a little less traditional for engagement rings. But how gorgeous are these? I am loving the ruby ones! And if you’re feeling totally unconventional check out some of these from Nava Zahavi and Melissa Joy Manning. I am craving me a raw black diamond. Mmmm.

Today we got to see our first Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade LIVE! The balloons by far made it the best. I won’t bore you with our iPhone pics, instead enjoy some cool vintage photos from the parade in the 1920s and 30s. Some of the balloons back in the day were a teensy bit terrifying.
