I’m getting a little bit tired of old white guys playing the halftime show at the Super Bowl. Why not bring on some current artists, or at least artists from the last decade? CBS is sooo afraid that there will be a repeat wardrobe malfunction. Speaking of which – I like The Who and all, but that was a little too much “Who belly” being shown by Pete Townsend. Button your shirt man! How about next year we bring on Lady GaGa!? Yeah how awesome (and a little bit scary for middle America) would that be?? Can you imagine? I give you GAGA BOWL:

Who is this kid??
So evidently Justin Bieber, who I still don’t understand where he came from, and Ludacris did a song together called “Baby.” There’s a combo I never saw coming, especially after listening to Ludacris all these years with his amazing lyrics like:

Bad A$$
The MJ tribute at the Grammy’s was pretty awesome but uhh, I must have missed the memo on the 3D glasses. I checked online and evidently Target was giving them away for free for the Grammy’s. They really should’ve publicized this 3D thing more. I was reading on Twitter that I was definitely not the only one that didn’t get the memo. Oh well. The blurry performances still sounded great and gave me chills.
But what’s up with MJ’s kids Prince and Paris? They are some of the whitest kids I’ve ever seen. Randy was like “They’re so white they could be British.” I know Michael turned white in his later years, but he was definitely born black, so why wouldn’t his kids at least have a hint of color? Strange. Maybe it was my lack of 3D glasses that was playing tricks with my eyes.
I guess if this 3D thing starts to take off I’m going to have to invest in a pair. Not a janky paper pair either. Like some real glasses. Come on Gucci! What are you waiting for?

I’ve realized that a lot of my friends, as well as my own husband, are people who don’t really like people. What do you think that means? Would my friends hate each other? Do they secretly hate me?

I so wish I’d thought of this. It’s from “Oh no they Didn’t.” They came up with the brilliant idea to bake cookies and decorate them to match all of the crazy get-ups Lady GaGa has worn. Check out their blog to see even more up close! Here are a couple of my favorites though.
Maybe I’ve been living in a cave, but I did NOT know that some of the lyrics to Heidi Montag’s appropriately titled album “Superficial” included “Eat my panties off of me.” I am speechless. The lyrics are from the track “I’ll Do It.” It goes like this: ”I brought some treats / I know that you gon love em / Come eat my panties off of me / Do whatever you feel comes naturally.” An overwhelming urge to vomit. That’s what comes naturally for me. These lyrics are being sung by someone that has claimed to be the “Modern Mother Theresa.” dgfiwegbfgnenebeydhsiefhhfwuwtyeeincbsbdkkkl – Excuse me I fell over laughing. What do you guys think of her new album and choice lyrics?

I was working at work today – I know shocking right? Anyway, I was listening to Pandora and OK Go came on. I didn’t recognize their new song “WTF.” No, that’s the name of it, I’m not just cussing. Anyway, they always have the coolest music videos so I thought I’d see if good ole YouTube had this new one up. Lucky me I found it. It did not disappoint. Check out the their older videos too below if you haven’t seen them before. Especially the last one. Trust me.

Jeff and I have a good friend, Nick, who plays in a Canadian band called Nightbox. Nick and his brother Jake, along with a few of their friends, formed the band back in 2005 in Ireland and the band gained a lot of attention after winning the Blast Beat World Finals, a battle of the bands competition where they beat out bands from all over the world. According to their website, “Nightbox’s music is a mix of infectious hooks and addictive choruses, with some mash-ups of covers thrown in for a good time. Nightbox music is a blend of catchy riffs and 3 and 4 voice harmonies.”
A few days ago, I was poking around online and found myself at their website. Fast forward 2 hours later and I was totally hooked on their music. They’re awesome, and it will be so fun to hopefully see these guys take off in the music industry. Check out their single, Addicted, below!
