I know these have been on Anthropologie for a while, but I still LOVE them.

Cadbury Mini Eggs – where are you?! You know the ones that look like little robins’ eggs – chocolaty shelled goodness. I can’t find them anywhere anymore. The last 2 years I’ve scoured my grocery store and Walgreens (3 of them) and have not been able to find them. These are my favorite Easter candies! I am so sad I can’t find them anywhere. If anyone knows where I can score some, pleeeeease let me know! I’m about THIS close to buying 4 packs on Amazon.
The next Food Network reality TV show!
We’ve got a winner. Not. Jeff and I are having date night tonight at the Yankees game, exciting! I’ll post pictures!
Oh Charlie Sheen. You either love him or you hate him. And I’m sure if you live in Detroit, you hate him. Regardless, I stumbled upon this little video the other day over at FoodNetworkHumor and it made me chuckle. Classic Charlie doing his thang.

I just noticed how much my all time favorite candy resembles crack cocaine. Coincidence?
What? I can stop eating it any time I want!

This will probably be the first of many posts I do about my new obsession, My Sweet & Saucy. Since it’s my husband’s birthday today, I thought I’d feature a bunch of beautiful cakes. I found too many on their site; starting with probably the most beautiful cake I think I’ve ever seen. Quick someone give me $5000 so I can throw a party and have this cake!

Hi friends, the slacker sister’s back. I don’t really have an excuse for not blogging in oh, say 3 weeks, I guess I’m just not as good as my sister
Anywho, the weather has gotten quite chilly in the city since the turn of the New Year, and how have I welcomed 2011….oh with the flu
Icky. I haven’t had the flu since I was maybe 10 years old and holy cow has it knocked me off my feet. The best part about being sick though, (if there really is a good part?), is the yummy comfort foods that become immediate go-to’s! Lets rattle off a list of things that have become staples in my diet over the past few days:
1. Chicken Noodle Soup…and lots of it!
2. Orange Juice…gotta get that Vitamin C, God bless you Tropicana!
3. Frozen Yogurt Milkshakes…for the sore throat
4. Steamed Rice….weird, yes, but it’s one of the only things my tummy can handle, boo.
5. Saltine crackers and cheese…ooh I’m fancy, huh?!
Yes, it’s pretty awesome, not, ha. Oh what I would do for a steak right now. Sigh.
I made my first batch of fudge ever. My mom and Randy’s mom used to make it every year, and each of us thinks that our mom’s recipe is the best. So naturally I didn’t make either one of ours. What? I’m not even going to try to compete. Instead I tried my own version. It’s based on this recipe but instead of 2 cups milk chocolate chips, 1 cup semisweet, I added 1 cup butterscotch chips, 1 cup milk, 1 cup semi. I have no idea how it’ll taste, but the leftovers in the bowl were pretty good I’d say. And the consistency I think looks good. It’s in the fridge right now solidifying. I’ll update this post later with taste test results!
UPDATE: Success! Randy claims to like it and I think it’s pretty good too. We’ll have to go public with it and see what others think.
I also made ranch oyster crackers, another Christmas tradition. There is absolutely no cooking involved. If you can pour ingredients into a bowl and stir, you can make them too.
Here’s the recipe.
