I’ve been tracking this Asheville, NC-based artist for probably a year now on Etsy. Her work just keeps getting better and better. Her name is Heather Knight and her shop is called Element Clay Studio. As you can tell by the pictures, her work deals primarily with natural textures like grass, fungi and coral. I freakin’ love the little wall art sculptures she makes, and have been wanting to collect some for forever. I just can’t seem to decide on which 3 to get! She also makes vases, bowls, and other textured pieces. Do check out her work on her Etsy site!

The designers of Melangerie Inc. designed the cutest dirty laundry stationery. I’m not exactly sure what I’d do with it, but I can’t help but want a set. If I had a laundry room I’d probably hang it up in there. Oooh or maybe decorate my cubicle with it. Hmm…

Paloma’s Nest is one of my favorite Etsy shops. She makes the prettiest little clay dishes and ornaments. Some of her new stuff is holiday-related like the “First Christmas” ornament with your names stamped into the clay. I’m a sucker for stamped anything. It gives such a great handmade rustic quality to things. Definitely check out her shop for great little handmade gift ideas!

I discovered the term “Druzy” on Etsy. It refers to the small crystals that are usually formed on the inside of geodes. I used to think that rock crystal jewelry was more for Rastafarian cougars or people who owned dream-catchers. (No offense to those that do.) But I sort of am liking them now and wouldn’t mind owning one of these.

So a couple weeks ago I was in Noe Valley, a cute little neighborhood in San Francisco, and was wandering around one of the cute little too-expensive-for-me boutiques they have. I saw some fingerless gloves at the front that were super cute. The brand was called Boho by Moe Munroe. Then I saw the price tag. They run about $50-$60. That’s about $30 more than I’m about to pay for gloves. I mean they don’t even have fingers! But I couldn’t get them out of my head and decided to do a little search on Etsy for some more affordable fingerless gloves and found a ton. Now I just need to pick a favorite. I figure we have another couple months of warm weather here so I’ve got time. But for now, here are some of my favorites. I know i know, i spent too much time on this. But like i said, I’m obsessed!

Um yeah. Love the concept, but there is no way in H-E- double hockey sticks that I would buy this for my bathroom. I already peek outside the curtain when I’m showering alone in the house just to make sure there’s no psycho out there planning to get me. It is kinda funny though. But no. Can’t do it.
