I’ve been feeling pretty under the weather for the past 2 days, ick. I can’t really complain though because I haven’t been sick for quite some time now, so I reckon I was due. Willie’s been a great doctor though and if puppy kisses had healing powers, I would have been back to full health by yesterday. And to top it all off, we’re getting MORE snow today. I swear, I have never seen so much snow in my life. I mean yes it’s beautiful and all, but can a girl get a little break? No? Fine. At least this time around the weatherman is giving the storm a cooler name: The Snow-cane. Delightfully named for the hurricane force winds accompanying this wonderful little storm. That’s so much better than Snowmageddon, and Snowpocalypse. Oh wait, no it’s not. Oh well, here’s to a day of deep cleaning the apartment, sending out more resumes and cover letters and resting up to feel better.

on February 25, 2010 at 11:49 am Actually, the only thing I miss about back east is the occasional good hard snow — the kind that knocks everything out of service for a day or two. Of course, the east coast has gotten rocked this year so I don’t know how I’d feel after three months of it.
