Feast your eyes on the upcoming cover of Vanity Fair. It’s a spread that the magazine does annually to feature who they believe are the up and coming female actresses in “young hollywood.” So what do you think? Does it look a bit odd to you? Do you feel like something’s missing? Well, you’re not alone if you do. A downright uproar has occurred over this little cover shoot and its “lack of diversity.” Apparently this is the second year in a row that the magazine has been slammed for the stereotypical group that it has chosen for it’s cover. Yes, they’re all thin, somewhat dough-eyed, and very, very, white. Not just Caucasian-white, but like Cullen Vampire family white. They look like they all went swimming in a pool of bisquick.
Thoughts? Feelings on the matter? I’m personally a little jazzed that not a single one of them is tan. Chalk one up for the pale girls! Woot, woot!
