Beautiful Boots

Sigh. You know that feeling you get when you see a certain pair of shoes that you just have to have to have to have?! Ah, that’s what happened to me today. I was wandering around the city with Monica, (side note: My surprise birfday present from my hubby…he flew my best friend and Maid of Honor Monica up to see me! I had no idea, sneaky guy!). Back to my story, so we’re wandering around the city and decide to hit up my favorite two story J. Crew store at Columbus Circle. I have a gift card that’s burning a hole in my pocket. While browsing the cute cardigans and matchstick jeans that I would never have any hope of squeezing my butt into, I look down to find these beauties staring back up at me.

GASP! They’re gorgeous. They’re the Steve Madden Intyce boots. I’ve always had a thing for cognac colored booties, and I just love the finish of these. The sleek look, the wedge heel. Ugh, it was love at first sight. And then the price tag hit me like a fat kid face planting in the street running after an ice cream truck.

$130.00?!?

Owwwwww. Yes, I know boots are expensive, and $130.00 could be considered “reasonable” in boot world. But, with a new puppy on the way, I just don’t know if I can justify buying them. Sigh.
